Dear clients,

 

as of 1 Jan 2011 the act concerning the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic had been amended. Therefore it is necessary to conclude a medical insurance that meets the requirements of Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on the Residence of Foreigners on the Territory of the Czech Republic when applying for a long-term visa (a stay of more than 90 days). The Foreigners’ Complex Medical Insurance is in compliance with this amendment to the Act and i.a. guarantees the provision of care in more than 4,000 contractual medical facilities without direct payment.

 

For stays of less than 90 days it is still possible to conclude the Foreigners’ Basic Medical Insurance, which covers necessary and urgent treatment.

 

The insurance can be concluded at sales outlets of Pojišťovna VZP, a.s., VZP ČR branches and with selected insurance agents.

 

Pojišťovna VZP, a.s., wholly meets the requirements of the Act on the Residence of Foreigners on the Territory of the Czech Republic, as amended.

As of 1 January 2011 the Foreigners’ Complex Medical Insurance replaces the product Foreigners’ Medical Insurance, the sale of which had been terminated as of this date.
