• a qualifying period of three months applies to the insurance, with the exception of injury, where no qualifying period applies
• for hospitalization due to pregnancy and birth the qualifying period is 8 months
• when taking out the insurance you are to report the details of persons to be insured (first name, surname, birth reg. no. and address), medical insurance company code, amount of daily compensation and insurance payment method
