Pojišťovna VZP, a.s. offers its clients and assistance service which finds out information regarding the client's destination and helps the client resolve all problems relating to health insurance. The assistance service is run by one of the largest such services in the world - AXA Assistance, which operates on a 24/7 basis in Czech.

The assistance services is on call for clients abroad at any time of day, anywhere in the world, and will help clients find the requisite medical care and treatment. If necessary it will pay the cost of expenses, transport and healthcare accompaniment in the event of transportation, and in the event of hospitalisation it is in contact with the family in the CR. The assistance service also provide legal advice to insured clients, not only in the event of healthcare being provided, but in the event of documents being lost and liability insurance for damage caused to health and property. For this reason you must contact the assistance service as soon as possible so that it can best meet your needs. Telephone and fax links to the service are given on the insurance ID card which each client receives. Dealings with the assistance service take place in Czech, but naturally can also take place in other world languages.
