Regarding the current epidemiological situation, the insurance company Poji\u0161\u0165ovna VZP, a.s., (hereinafter referred to as \u201cPVZP\u201d) hereby issues a statement for clients of PVZP \u2013 the foreigners, who have taken out\u00a0foreigners\u00b4 medical insurance.<\/strong><\/p>\n We would like to assure the clients who have taken out any foreigner\u00b4s medical insurance product (both comprehensive and basic) that, under all of the above-mentioned foreigners\u00b4 medical insurance products, PVZP will cover\u00a0acute healthcare provided to you in connection with the corona virus<\/strong>, including hospitalisation.<\/p>\n We will also cover\u00a0PCR tests for covid-19\u00a0<\/strong>on the recommendation of a doctor or the hygienic station. Regarding non-acute healthcare in connection with this illness, it can be covered from\u00a0foreigners\u00b4 comprehensive medical insurance,\u00a0<\/strong>within the scope of insurance conditions.<\/p>\n Antigen testing (that was declared as free only for those insured in the public medical system) is not possible to cover by foreigners\u00b4 commercial insurance. However, clients can submit these tests as self-payers. In case clients have a valid insurance policy for\u00a0comprehensive medical insurance<\/strong>\u00a0with a stated limit for \u201cPremium<\/strong>\u201d, it is possible to request a refund for antigen testing up to the stated limit.<\/p>\n We are also monitoring the situation concerning the possibility for\u00a0vaccination<\/strong>. For the moment, it is possible to register into the system only for those insured by public medical insurance. As soon as the registration is possible for our clients, PVZP will be ready to respond to this fact.<\/p>\n Foreigners\u00b4 medical insurance is suitable also for Czech citizens that work on a long-term basis abroad and are compelled to come back to the Czech Republic in connection with corona virus and are not insured by public medical system.<\/p>\n We believe that the current situation will get better and that we will go through this together!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" (it replaces the declaration from 16.
